Could you do with a break?

I think I'd like a break, just a little short one. We have already decided we don't want to go away on our usual ferry/camping holiday this year, we'd rather stay at home and enjoy our smallholding. This is the first year that everything is in place. The animals are all ticking along nicely, the gardens are beginning to take shape and the polytunnel is up and running. Why go away when everything we adore is already here, and part of our home. Instead we will stay here, enjoy the bounty and welcome friends to stay. 

We've decided to take a few days around Ireland during the summer ... flitting here and there ... watching the weather forecast for the promise of a few days of sunshine. Then the tent will go in the car boot and we will head off. I want to go to the Aran Islands again, my husband and children have never been. We are also keen to visit Fungi the dolphin. I've wanted to do that for years, and he must be getting on a bit now, like myself!

If you have a few pennies to spend on something special what about having a getaway here at Glengarriff Lodge with luxury self catering. Just by mentioning it, I might even be in with a chance of winning a weekend there myself! It looks like a great place to perhaps catch up with some old friends.
