I had hoped broadband would see the end of our unpredictable internet connection, but unfortunately, although faster when working, it is just as cantankerous. When its windy, the line fails to make a connection. This week, it has mainly been windy, and hence incredibly frustrating.
January is generally our month for pressing on with DIY and renovations. This year our own bedroom is finally getting some attention. The original brown painted woodwork is receiving a facelift. Traditional blue Shaker milk paints for the bedroom door, Auro organic white paint for 3 of the walls, and Sanderson wallpaper for the remaining wall. 'After' photos will follow, hopefully in the not too distant future ... weather permitting!
I just love DIY photos, looking forward to the after shots.

With all the wind outside sounds like staying inside is the best option and changing decor is a lovely way to usher in the New Year - looking forward to seeing those pics as the colours sound great.

It has been horribly windy hasn't it? Looking forward to seeing the "after" photographs. Have a good weekend.

I love the DIY pics! The colors you chose are exactly what I've been trying to describe to my husband for a future cottage we'd like to build. I'm wondering what that beautiful wallpaper pattern is called? It's the exact blue and cream I've been hoping to find...do you mind sharing its name? Kudos on your beautiful site...I've come here before and every visit is like a warm cup of tea! :)
