Life is about to change for the feline inhabitants of this household! Yes our two longhaired boys are about to meet a little lady. One cute little kitten is waiting in the wings to join the family, all that is required is for me to go collect her. The children are thrilled and overexcited. I am too, but a little bemused because I thought the toilet training years were finally over in this house! One of the advantages of being grown up is that I needn't plead endlessly to the adult in charge for a new pet, I can just choose to get it! Three cats are no more hassle than two cats, right? Check in next week to witness the mayhem! I'll have nobody to blame but myself either.
Aaaaaahhhhhh, lucky you. I so miss having pets (we've got a goldfish but it's not very cuddly!). We had a succession of cats before the kids came along but the last 2 got really ill when Amy was tiny and it was decided that we'd have a break from pets until the kids were older - I'm angling for a dog but think I may have my work cut out to convince H! Anyway - she's a cutie, who gets to name her, you or the girls?

Oh lucky you. She looks lovely. I would love to have a cat but unfortunately my lease doesn't allow it and anyway it would be cruel to keep one in a flat I think. Luckily my Mum and Dad have one plus 4 strays in permanent residence to I get to pretend I have one when I go stay. Hopefully one day, when I have space and a home not controlled by strict landlords rules I will have one. Can't wait to see the pictures next week.

Aha, this black cat is actually one of the current feline inhabitants. The kitten has not yet arrived, perhaps tomorrow.

3 cats are certainly no more hassle than 2, once they learn to get along that is. I've always found one of the great joys of kittens versus puppies is that they usually come toilet trained as their mothers teach them. Mind you that didn't stop one of our cats from using the vegetable basket intstead of the litter tray!

We have three cats and it is mayhem;) But I wouldn't rule out getting one more or even letting them have kittens..after a while we got used to the mayhem. And they are so CUTE! Congratulations:)
