The beautiful Burren renewed us with its wonderful energie We could clearly see the Aran Islands rising offshore and we decided we would do our best to carve out a few days from our busy summer or autumn to try and visit Inis Mor for a couple of nights.s for three
days, and now I’m ready to dive back into some craft and design work. The weather was perfect, only a couple of light showers and plenty of warm hazy sunshine. The beaches of Tracht and Fanore offered the children plenty of beaching combing bounty so now the car is filled with the aroma of dead crab body parts and damp seaweed! We also took the children on their first summit hike up Abby Hill. The route starts on a typical winding stone walled ‘green road’ with views down to the ocean. A style then winds up to the limestone karst leading first to a stone carved face beside a well dating back to pagan rituals. Many still value its mystic powers and nowadays it has been embraced into the Catholic faith. I splashed the cool water on my face and paid respect to the positive energies by leaving a flower.
Hi Rebecca
I love the blog! I wrote the Craft IT article and it is deadly to see you starting this. I hope others in both the craft sector and also small food businesses do the same :-)
