yum! my mum always made elderberry juice, with the same method, but less sugar and i'm not sure about the lemon. we used it in winter, mostly heated up, mixed with freshly squeezed orange juice as an immune boosting non alcoholic mulled wine for us kids! I meant to make some this year, as I forgot to make elderflower cordial, but alas, a toddler and a baby somehow keep me busy just getting from day to day!
